Look what God has been building, one faithful step at a time.

One year ago, The Christian Mind Lab was simply an idea. I wanted a place where faith, psychology, neuroscience, apologetics, and human flourishing could come together under the authority of God's Word. I wasn't sure where it would lead. I simply knew I wanted to create a space where people could think deeply, ask honest questions, and discover that Christianity offers not only eternal hope but a coherent understanding of the human mind and soul.

Over the past year, something beautiful has happened.

Not because everything happened quickly.

Not because thousands of people suddenly discovered the website.

But because faithful, consistent steps began to add up.

We often celebrate only the big moments: earning the degree, publishing the book, landing the job, launching the ministry. Yet Scripture repeatedly reminds us that God delights in faithfulness long before the visible harvest arrives.

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin..." (Zechariah 4:10)

Small victories matter because they create momentum.

Every article written when inspiration felt absent.

Every podcast recorded despite wondering whether anyone would listen.

Every hour spent researching, editing, praying, and rewriting.

Every conversation that encouraged one person to think differently.

Those moments may seem insignificant in isolation, but together they shape a life of obedience.

Looking Back

This past year has been filled with milestones I want to pause and celebrate not because they are the finish line, but because they remind me that God is faithful in the process.

Together we have published 20 blog articles exploring topics such as:

  • Biblical mental health

  • Human flourishing

  • Christian worldview

  • Educational psychology

  • Neuroscience

  • Apologetics

  • Technology and the developing mind

  • Relationships

  • Fear

  • Grief

  • Identity

  • Hope

  • Spiritual formation

From Mental Health and the Birth of Jesus to The Restored Heart: Why God Calls Us to Surrender, each article has been an invitation to look beyond surface-level solutions and toward the transforming work of Christ.

We also launched four podcast episodes, including:

  • Listen Up — introducing the heart and vision behind The Christian Mind Lab and exploring the remarkable design of our thoughts, emotions, identity, and the evidence for intentional creation.

  • Worldview Matters — examining why every person has a worldview and why the truth of that worldview shapes every area of life.

  • Does God Have a Plan for Mental Health? — exploring Scripture, neuroscience, human flourishing research, apologetics, and personal experience to demonstrate that Christianity offers the most coherent foundation for understanding mental health.

Each episode represents another opportunity to invite people into thoughtful conversations that unite biblical truth with sound scholarship.

Why Celebrate Small Wins?

Momentum begins with ordinary faithfulness.

The athlete celebrates one more workout. The student celebrates finishing one chapter.

The parent celebrates one meaningful conversation. The disciple celebrates one more act of obedience.

These moments train our hearts to notice God's ongoing work rather than waiting only for extraordinary events.

Small victories remind us that growth is usually quiet, steady, hidden and deeply transformative.

The Christian life itself is built this way. We become more like Christ one surrendered decision at a time.

One renewed thought.

One act of forgiveness.

One prayer.

One conversation.

One faithful day after another.

Looking Ahead

As I look toward the next year, my prayer is not simply for more articles or more listeners.

It is that God would continue using this ministry to help people discover that Christianity speaks meaningfully to the deepest questions of the human heart and mind.

There are many exciting projects ahead, including new podcast episodes, additional articles, educational resources, and opportunities to continue integrating biblical truth, psychology, neuroscience, and apologetics into conversations that help people flourish.

Thank You

Whether you've read a single article, listened to a podcast episode, shared the website with a friend, or prayed for this ministry, thank you.

You are part of this story.

Would You Consider Supporting This Ministry?

The Christian Mind Lab is independently supported. Website hosting, email newsletters, podcast development, and future educational resources all require ongoing time and financial investment.

If this ministry has encouraged you or helped deepen your understanding of God's design for the mind, I would be grateful if you would prayerfully consider supporting its continued growth.

Donations can be made through PayPal using kmankos@bellsouth.net. At this time, donations are not tax-deductible, but considered gifts.

More than anything, I ask for your prayers that God would continue using this ministry to point people toward Christ, cultivate renewed minds, and encourage lives marked by truth, wisdom, and human flourishing.

Here's to another year of celebrating the small victories that, by God's grace, become part of a much greater story.
